Finally got around to putting the finishing touches on this munny after it sat around for ages, collecting dust. As this was my first mini-munny it was quite the learning experience. I have a whole new respect for Huck Gee and Jeremy Madl, that's for sure. Those guys are beasts!
Later,
Josh

Totally in love with this, what did you use to make it?

Sorry for the late response. I don't get on here as much as I should. Anyhow, so for this guy I used Super Sculpy to create the eye brows, hair, hat, belt, and axe. I just sculpted the hair, eyebrows and belt directly on the figure then baked the whole thing in the oven at 300 degrees for about 10 minutes to harden everything.

After it cooled, I painted everything with two different paints. For the skin tones I used a flesh colored craft paint. It went on really smooth and I'd highly recommend using that type of paint. For the costume, I used a much more expensive acrylic paint and it didn't work as well. It was too thick and brush strokes showed up way too much. I spent a lot of time correcting because of it.

I'm very flattered by the fact that people like this. I'll do a step by step of my next mini Munny in case anyone wants a more detailed look at how I make these.

Thanks for the interest!
